O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me….. rescue me quickly and give my bride and me wisdom to coach the couples who turn to us for help. Please be the rock of protection for us, a fortress where we will be safe,.
For the honor of your name, lead us out of this danger. Pull them from the trap the powers of evil have set for them. I find protection in You alone. I trust our spirits into your hands trusting You to rescue us, LORD, because You alone are our protection.
Have mercy on me, Lord, and on those in distress whom we coach.
Tears blur my eyes. I am dying from grief. Nevertheless, I am trusting You, O Lord– My future is in your hands. Let Your favor shine on my bride and me. In your unfailing love, rescue us. Don’t let me be disgraced, O Lord, for I call out to you for help.
I acknowledge how great is the goodness You have stored up for those of us who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. So, please hide us in the shelter of Your presence safe from the powers of evil who would tear families apart.
I praise You, Lord, for You have shown me the wonders of Your unfailing love
So we will be strong and courageous, because we have put our hope in the Lord! Help us, Father, to be committed to our faithfulness, trusting the outcomes to You, because I pray in the strong, strong name of Jesus. Amen (acknowledging Psalm 31)
