Dear God, Monday I buried a good friend — one of Your faithful servants. Please draw near to his widow, his children, and his grandchildren as they grieve this deep loss. Comfort their hearts, surround them with Your peace, and send caring friends who will sit with them, weep with them, and walk alongside them in their sorrow. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
