O, my LORD and Savior, I know so much more than I'm doing for You, and I hate the things which crowd my attention and my behavior to keep me away from Your best stuff.
I keep reading Your command to Go...Make disciples...Baptize them...Teach them and then I do so little of that.
Today, make me loving, caring and sensitive enough to see someone you place in front of me for whom I can be a witness for You, and keep the powers of evil away from me so I will Go and DO what You ask of me today, because I pray this in the powerful and wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.
Verse for Today: "Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just listen to God’s word.
