For Jesus' Sake...today...all day!

By Dick Ivey · 2026-09-19

LORD Jesus, You taught me that whatever I do, whether in word or deed,I am to do it all for Your glory. As I navigate my daily work, help me remember that no task is too small when offered to You.

When the marketplace seems distant from the sanctuary, let my integrity shine as a bridge between the two. When others see only profit margins, let me see souls. When weariness sets in, remind me that my labor in the LORD is never in vain. Give me patience with difficult colleagues and courage to speak truth with gentleness.

May my commitment to excellence point others to Your character, and may my kindness open doors for Your gospel. Whether I'm writing prayers, caring for family, or serving in less visible ways—let each act be worship. Let my life be a steady testimony that faithfulness in little prepares us for faithfulness in much. In Jesus' precious and powerful name I pray. Amen.
