Father, today I'm trying to put myself in the shoes of service men and women and their families who a sitting on packed duffel bags on one hour notices to report to duty stations around the world.
Then there are those who are already in harm's way on missions.
I pray for peace and there is no peace...except the peace which comes from You.
I implore you today to provide peace and comfort for those who stand watches in faraway places to guard their hearts and bodies.
May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven...and even so come LORD Jesus, this I pray in Your name. Amen
Verse for Today: God says, “I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as LORD. When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them. I will rescue them and honousalr them. I will reward them with long life; I will save them.” (Psalm 91:14-16)
