Whenever I am feeling battered by life’s trials, world circumstances, economic uncertainties, and all the other impacts of the sinful and fallen world in which I live, help me remember the crown of righteousness that is stored up for me when You call me home.
Please help me redeem every day you leave me here for the sake of Your Kingdom to come, for Jesus' sake and the promise of eternal glory with You. Amen.
Verse for Today: "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." (James 1:12)
