LORD Jesus, today I lift up my dear friend to You. You have showered him with both great mercy and deep sorrow.
I pray that You will turn his heart fully toward You and bring him to salvation. Draw him with Your kindness and open his eyes to the truth of Your gospel.
Please protect him and his family from the powers of evil. Surround them with Your mighty angels and keep them safe in every way.
Tune their hearts to sing Your praise, even in the midst of sorrow, so that Your name would be glorified in their lives.
I ask this in Your strong and saving name, Amen.
