Dear Father, today is one of those days I need reminding about worry. I know if I worry about something which might occur tomorrow and it doesn't occur, I wasted a worry...if I worry about something which might occur tomorrow and it occurs, I have to worry about it twice. I hate it when I do that.
Please help me not to worry about tomorrow! You have divided time into days and nights so I would have manageable portions of life to handle. I know Your grace is sufficient for me, but I often need to be reminded its sufficiency is for only one day at a time.
Help me redeem this day for You as You wish me to do, because I pray with gratitude in Your blessed name. Amen
Verse for Today: "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
