Break the Cycle. Learn to Fight Fair.
Marriage Coaching in Allen, Texas
Allen couples tend to be capable people: steady jobs up and down US 75, kids in busy programs, a full church calendar. Yet capable people get stuck in the same argument for years. We coach Allen couples who are tired of the cycle and ready to learn a better way to handle conflict and reconnect.
The Same Fight, Again
Most couples do not have hundreds of problems. They have two or three that keep coming back dressed in different clothes — money, chores, in-laws, time, sex. Each round ends in withdrawal or a truce, nothing is settled, and the next round starts a little sooner. Coaching slows the pattern down so you can see it, then gives you a different way through: how to raise an issue without attacking, how to listen until your spouse feels understood, and how to repair after a bad night.
Roommates or Partners?
The other pattern we see often is quieter. Two people run a household well and are kind to each other, but they no longer share their inner lives. There is no crisis, which is exactly why it gets ignored. We help couples rebuild everyday connection — conversation, affection, prayer, fun — before the distance becomes the marriage.
Is It Coaching or Counseling You Need?
- Coaching fits when you both want to grow and need skills, structure and accountability
- Therapy fits when depression, trauma, addiction or abuse is driving the problems
- Some couples need both — we will say so honestly in the first conversation
- If you are in danger at home, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line first

Frequently Asked Questions
- We keep having the same argument. Can coaching really change that?
- Usually, yes. Recurring arguments are driven by a pattern more than by the topic. Once you can see the pattern and have specific skills for interrupting it, the same subject can be discussed without the same explosion.
- What if only one of us wants coaching?
- Start anyway. One spouse who changes how they respond changes the dynamic. Reluctant spouses often join once they see the first one is serious and the process is respectful.
- Can you help after an affair?
- Yes. Rebuilding trust after infidelity is some of the most important work we do. It takes time, honesty and a clear process, and many couples come through it with a stronger marriage than before.
- Do you meet in person in Allen?
- Yes, at a private location arranged when we start, or by video if that suits your schedule better.
