Father God, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Jesus’ arrival as Your wonderful gift to all humanity, stir up in my heart and my home a sense of anticipation. May Your spirit transform the days leading up to Christmas into a time of holy anticipation; preparing my heart, as I faithfully await the chance to celebrate the arrival of our King. Give me a spirit of peace and joy as I wait, for the sake of Your Kingdom...to come on earth, because I pray earnestly in the strong name of Jesus, my LORD, Amen
Verse for Today: "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” (Psalm 46:10-11)
