My Father...today is a reflective day. I started today reminiscing over the good and bad days we had rearing our children. I'm grateful at the outset that all of ours have made confessions of faith in You.
I'm also grateful Your Grace has blessed our children with seven grandchildren...
They are grown adults now and embarking on new careers, several planning to be married this year, one we never get to see (breaks our hearts) and one with health struggles.
Today, please be extra close to each of these young folks. Make them feel Your presence in their lives...and somehow, turn their hearts toward You as they begin to assume the leadership in our world.
Help my bride and me finish strong and be an encouragement to each of them to live for You, for Jesus' sake. Amen.
Verse for Today: “And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring,” says the Lord, “from this time forth and forevermore.” (Isaiah 59:21)
