Dear Heavenly Father, You know my heart better than anyone else. As I watch my peers age, I see illness and the inevitable effects of time taking hold. Though I struggle with the pain of watching loved ones suffer, I also hold fast to the promise that each day brings us nearer to being home with You.
Today, I lift up my friends and family in Florida, Texas, Mississippi, and California who are battling recovery from surgery, pneumonia, anemia, heart conditions, and many other ailments. You know each person by name and the specific needs they carry.
Please extend Your healing hand over them. Grant comfort to their bodies, peace to their spirits, and strength to those caring for them. May Your loving presence sustain them through every trial, and may they feel the assurance of Your grace for Jesus’ sake. In the matchless name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
