Heavenly Father, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord Who Heals,this morning, I lift up my heart to You, bringing before Your throne of grace those who are walking through valleys of shadow. I pray for my friends who are hurting, those grieving deep losses, and those facing life-threatening conditions. I also bring before You those who are afraid, facing things that seem to "go bump in the night"—whether those fears are physical, spiritual, or born of anxiety.
Lord, I ask that You draw near to them today with a tangible sense of Your peace. Be the shield around them and the light in their darkness.
Specifically, I place these names in Your hands: Scott, Gary, Rick, John, Kathy, Sarah, Brent, Patti, Susan, Cyndee, Dan, Stan, Patrick, Tim, Sue, George, David, Kim, Walt, Sandie, Bonnie, Jason, Steve, Andres, Jon, Nancy, Darrell, and Leon.
Grant them strength where they are weak, hope where they feel despair, and the assurance that they are never alone. Let Your healing touch rest upon their bodies, minds, and spirits. Silence every fear and replace it with Your perfect love.
We trust in Your goodness and Your power to restore. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
