LORD, Jesus, today is the last of Your days of Rest this year. As I reflect on the year past, as I traded off my life one day...one week...one month at a time, I take a fearless inventory of whether or not I redeemed the time as I should. How I pray, I in You and You in me. My Joy-in-You and Your Joy-in-me may become intertwined and inseparable. May I have in my soul the Joy of Your Presence; at Your right hand where there are pleasures forevermore.
Make my resolve to be more like You than I've ever been as we face a new year and may it be a wonderful life ahead, for Jesus' sake. Amen
