Dear Father, please give me the courage, and the stick-to-it-iveness to follow the Star You set in front of me as we wind down this year.
Help me bring my best gifts to you in talent, resources, and time. Help me daily to sing praises to Your holy Name. Keep my eyes focused on You in silent adoration. Show me Your star of guidance in my own life, and give me the willingness to follow wherever You lead.
Finally, teach me to go 'home' from Christmas another way...to be a better man as this old year wanes and another looms, because I pray this in the strong and mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
