Dear Heavenly Father, I know you can see the end from here and I cannot. How I long for a healing in our land, for a renewed sense of Your hand on us and a deep seated desire of our people to turn to You and to lose the rancor and animosity which so divides us today.
I pray especially for my grandsons who will soon be the decision makers in our nation. Please turn their hearts toward You first and foremost and restore to them the joy of Your salvation, this I pray earnestly in the strong and mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Verse for Today: "I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity." (I Timothy 2:1-2)
