Father, my generation is coming to the end of our race. So many of us want to be able to say with Paul, 'we have run our race, we have finished our course...in hopes of the 'good and faithful servant' award when we stand in Your presence.
Please give us willing and able runners to whom to hand the batons for the next generation. I pray this daily and urgently in the precious name of Jesus. Amen
Verse for Today: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." (II Timothy 4:7-8)
