LORD, Jesus, I’m learning to thank You for my hard times and praise You for ongoing troubles, regardless of how I’m feeling. I want to glorify You by always giving thanks, even in the midst of adversity—because of who You are and all that You’ve done for me.
Teach me better how to sing in the face of sorrow and grief as well as in the sunshine, for Jesus' sake today, I pray. Amen
Verse for Today: "Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5:19-20)
