O God, O God, my path through this world has so many ups and downs. The down times are are so hard, but I am trusting You they serve an important purpose. Pain and struggle help me change and grow stronger when I trust You in the midst of adversity.
While I know all that is true, my heart hurts over the fate of one of ours who is fighting a life and death battle. Please protect him and keep our faith in You strong today, for Jesus' sake and his future. Amen
Verse for Today: Please give us the promise of a rebirth for our boy: "A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world." (John 16:21)
