LORD Jesus, I awoke this morning with pains I don't remember having before. As I look around me I see my circle of friends aging way too quickly.
I am grateful for my youth and for my health this late in life, but I recognize that life if fleeting for us all...some of us quicker than others.
Help me today to focus on what I can do in Your service and what I cannot. Remind me that You have made today and help us all make the most of it for the sake of Your Kingdom to come and on earth, because I pray this in the eternal and matchless names You wear. Amen
