Dear Lord, Every time I turn my attention to You, my problems fade into insignificance and lose their power to trip me up. Most of the situations that entangle my mind are not today’s concerns at all. Help me stop borrowing trouble from tomorrow. Teach me to live fully for You all day today, one moment at a time, for Jesus’ sake. In His precious name I pray, Amen.
Verse for Today: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4;6-7)
