Dear LORD, I woke this morning humming that Cathedral's song "Can He, Could He, Would He? Yes, He Did!"—as I prayed over my precious bride's surgery. I thank You from the bottom of my heart for the surgical team who took such good care of her.
Thank You the surgery went well, and she now has fully repaired parts in her body. Lord, help me be a good caregiver today. Give me the wisdom to provide the aftercare she needs and the sensitivity to moderate her pain appropriately. Bring swift healing and full restoration.
Thank You again and again for the generosity You have shown us—two broken people whom You have dusted off and put back together in humble service to You. Make us ever better at that work. All of this I ask from a grateful heart in the strong and mighty name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
