O God, my Heavenly Father, give me rest amid the caregiving, strength for weary hands, wisdom for tender moments, patience for frustrating days (which You know I'm not good at).
Remind me (through the tender care of others who love us), and through Your own tender care...that I don't walk alone. I know You are with me in every pill, every bandage change, every late night, every tentative step my bride takes.
Refresh my soul as I refresh my bride. All of this I pray in the powerful name of the Great Physician, Jesus, my LORD. Amen.
