Lord Jesus, how often I waste energy trying to determine if my own resources are adequate for today and tomorrow. I catch myself constantly checking my "power gauge" instead of looking to You for Your provision.
So, here is my prayer for today: Help me stay connected to You throughout the day. Teach me to trust that You will care for the things I cannot know or see in the future. I believe that You will place enough power at my disposal to meet my needs exactly as they arise.
Father God, I believe, but I also struggle. Help my unbelief. Let my trust in You be stronger than my fear of the unknown.
I ask this in the strong and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
