T-Thanksgiving (Two Broken People Forged Into One)

Oh, my LORD, please keep me ever and always in deep gratitude for all You have done and are doing in my life. I set out with such high goals for my life, only to sacrifice them on the altar of ignorance… I squandered privilege, relationships, and opportunities. Yet through it all, You never gave up on me.

Perhaps the best evidence of that I have is my Gorgeous Redheaded Bride. You took two broken people and forged us into a life-long commitment with desire to serve You through guiding others to know how to get marriage right.

You have blessed us with a gorgeous home. You have brought all my children to faith in You. And You have given me hope for our grandchildren to know… love… and follow You.

Thank You for giving us honorable work to do, praying You will keep us strong and able to do this for years to come. I praise You for my prayer warrior buddies.

At my baseline, Father GOD, I thank You for Your grace to me… for not throwing me away during the many times when I was so unlovable. For knowing You will lead us to where to live when the time comes.

In the meantime, give me a heart of gratitude in all things. Because I pray this in the always-surprising-and-more-than-I-expected name of Jesus, my LORD and my God. Amen.
