New Neighborhoods, Far From Home

Marriage Coaching in Princeton & Farmersville, Texas

Princeton has become one of the fastest-growing towns in Collin County, with whole neighborhoods of new homes along US 380 east of McKinney. Many of the young families moving in left parents, siblings and old friends behind. We coach Princeton and Farmersville couples in person at a private location we arrange, or by video.

Building a Marriage Without the Usual Support

When grandparents live in another state, there is no one to take the kids for an evening, no older couple down the road to talk to, and no family table to fall back on at the holidays. Young couples end up carrying everything themselves. That isolation is hard on a marriage, especially in the first years of a new home or a new baby. Part of our work is simply standing alongside couples as the steady, experienced voice they would otherwise be missing.

How We Help Princeton Families

  • Young parents who feel like a team at work and strangers at night
  • Couples who moved for a new house and found the move harder on them than expected
  • Engaged couples who want premarital coaching close to their new home
  • Disagreements about money after taking on a mortgage and a longer commute
  • Finding a church family and building friendships with other married couples

Mentoring, Not Just Sessions

Our coaching moves through three stages — educate, coach, mentor — and for couples far from family the mentoring stage matters most. After the structured sessions, we stay in lighter contact while new habits take hold, so you have someone to call when a hard season comes. Everything we teach is rooted in scripture and in what we have learned walking with couples through their own ups and downs.

East Collin County

Princeton is a straightforward drive from our home near Celina, so in-person sessions are practical, and video covers the busy weeks. We also coach couples in Farmersville, Lowry Crossing, Blue Ridge, Anna and McKinney.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you coach couples in Farmersville as well as Princeton?
Yes. We work with couples all along this stretch of US 380, including Farmersville and Lowry Crossing, in person or by video.
Our families live far away. Can coaching really make up for that?
It cannot replace family, but it can give you what isolation takes away: an outside perspective, practical skills and an experienced couple in your corner. Mentoring continues after the coaching sessions end.
Where do we meet in Princeton?
At a private location arranged at the start of the engagement, or by video from home — easiest when babysitters are hard to find.
We just moved here and want to find a church. Can you help with that?
We do not steer couples to a particular congregation, but we can help you talk through what you are each looking for in a church home and how to build faith into your family life while you search.
