Dear God, my Father and LORD, I have such deep concerns for the hearts and minds of my grandchildren and their peers. I am not confident these budding adults have the wisdom or even the knowledge to step into the roles of leadership in government, the military, business, and/or the church.
I fear for the lives of coming generations if there is not a wholesale revival of repentance and a renewal of critical thinking and learning among this emerging generation of potential leaders.
Father, my generation is in its twilight years and I beg you to raise of a new generation of leaders who will do a better job than we did on behalf of the Gospel and the protection and defense of freedom in the world.
I know this is a selfish prayer, and so I cover it with a plea for Your Will to be done on earth, even as it is in heaven…in the strong strong name of Jesus. Amen
