LORD Jesus, we live in tumultuoud times. Rancor and ugliness accompanies so much of what we do to choose those who do the thankless jobs of helping us govern ourselves.
As we come to this voting season, please let sane heads and gentle spirits prevail. Please give us the leadership which will draw us together to deal with the pressing needs of our day in collegial, cooperative, and gentility of spirit. And my Your Kingdom come on earth…even as it is in heaven. I pray this in Your matchless name. Amen
