Dear LORD, my God and Father, I am tempted to play “ain’t it awful” make me mindful of specific people I will see this Advent Season who would gladly trade places with me.
Please do not let me overlook opportunities to share the experience, strength, and hope of Your Incarnation and redemptive acts on my behalf.
Make me loving, caring and sensitive enough to spread Your joy, whether it is feeding hungry people or giving away warm clothing, or whispering a prayer for strength in Your name. This I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen
