God. Abba. Father. Hear my prayer today. Some days I feel hopeless, my heart is weak, and I am down for the count. It can be an effort to get out of bed. So, I cry out to You from a place of weariness. My old body is not what it was in youth, but my spirit is still alive and well.
Today I ask you to lead me to a safe place. A spot which is high and away from the noise of the day-to-day busyness of life. A location where I can rest in solitude and quiet, where I can meditate on You and just breathe, with no expectations or demands.
This is the place where I come alive. It is here, Father, in Your arms where I are blessed. This is my inheritance in You.
So, I worship you today, great King! Please allow me to live long in this land so I might sing your praises, while I dwell here, and while I live with you forever. To you be the glory, oh God! In Jesus name, Amen.
