My Father, my LORD, I long to be better at being a faithful child of Yours. Sometimes I miss the boat because I let busyness crowd You out, and for that I am profoundly sorry.
Today, take charge of every idle thought, every idle moment, every purposeful act, every encounter, and every emotion which draws me away from Your purposes for me.
I want to be like You, Father. Help me be better at that today. Keep my eyes and thoughts and actions centered on only You today, for I pray this in the matchless name of Jesus, my LORD. Amen.
