O LORD, my God, would You please rise up in Your power and come to deliver me from the evil within and around me, that when I am oppressed by temptations, I will be defended by Your power, so the hosts of the enemy may never prevail against me.
Hear me in Your mercy, Father God, that I may be a victor over the temptations which I will face today. Make me clean again today and prepare my heart for Advent past and the one to come, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
