Gracious LORD, I am amazed at how long my cousin, Norman, has lived. I know his physical condition is deteriorating rapidly. I know he knows You and you have a new whole body waiting for him in Your time.
I pray for him and our family a peaceful transition from here to Glory.
Thank you that we can grieve unlike those who have no hope of resurrection and heaven.
Make this time a period of reflection for us all to consider how fleeting life is and to make the most of everyday we have left, for Jesus’ sake.
I ask these things humbly before Your throne of grace. Amen
