Father, God, as I relax with You in the middle of this heat wave, I am prone to grumble about the weather You control. And yet, Your everlasting arms enfold me in Peace.
What a great blessing it is to start this day taking a break from obsessing about my concerns—and just enjoy this time of looking to You. I know this heat wave is Yours to control.
Help me settle in Your Peace, no matter what occurs today, because I pray this all in the name of Jesus…by whom all things consist…including the weather. Amen
