Father, as the focus of our world shifts to the season of Christmas, please help me to always always keep my focus on the birth of Jesus.
Regardless of what others do, may my thoughts and music and prayers be of thanksgiving for Your magnanimous gift of Your Son to come live among us and to take upon Himself all my guilt and everybody else’s guilt…whoever have lived and whoever will live.
Focus my mind and my entertainment and worship on Jesus and Your magnanimous gift from before the foundations of the world were laid.
Keep me in perfect peace with my mind staid on You, with gratitude for Jesus. Amen.
