O God, my Father, I can never thank You enough for your kind and tender gentleness and, yes, patience with me. I was such a slow learner when it came to learning how to get marriage right, and for that I am truly sorry.
Thank you for sending me wise friends, confidants and counselors who were willing to guide me and my bride to understanding of what Your Word says about marriage…the practical things I never seemed to get right before.
I pray today for husbands and wives who still struggle with Your desires for their marriages. If there is a way for us to intervene with those who need what you have so graciously taught us, please bring it to pass.
Thank You again for your kindness to me and my bride. I praise Your name for opening to us the joys of Godly, joyful, happy marriage which points us to Your return to take us home in Your time. I thank You even more in the strong name of Jesus, my LORD. Amen
