O, LORD, all too often my old sin nature calls on me to take hold of the reins of my life instead of abiding in You and resting in Your promises.
Help me to learn to wait on and for You and to be of good courage, knowing that You are in perfect control of my life and all I am. I know I am called upon to quietly wait for You to act on my behalf and to confidently wait on You with prayer and worship and a heart of thanksgiving and praise. Please make it so, because I ask this prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
