Dear God, sometimes I have a hard time distinguishing where my job ends and Yours begins. What sorts of planning should I be doing for tomorrow and tomorrow after that? I know in my heart You plan out each day and have it ready for me long before I get up. You also provide the strength I need each step of the way.
As I get old…at least older…what should I be thinking about and exploring for the years remaining in my earthly life? Please speak plainly to me today about what is ahead and make me ready to receive, because I pray this humbly in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Verse for Today: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34)
