Where else can I go?

LORD, Jesus, I look all around me and see such meanness and such cavalier disregard for You and Your Kingdom. I feel so small in the sea of disobedience around me.

My efforts to be a better representative of Yours seem to be so insignificant. I hurt for our country, our town, our world. Where are you taking us these days.

When will You say, “That’s enough!” Regardless of the outcomes, I want to come down on the side of likeness to You, of righteousness, of faithfulness, of healing, and of prayer. Help me do my part today and every day until the end, for Your sake, I pray. Amen.

Verse for Today: “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
