Who are you praying for Today?

Dear God, all too often I tend to jump into my wish list with You, and I’m so sorry when I truncate how You taught us to pray.

Please help me to intone Your name and will…and beg forgiveness for my failures…and to be grateful for my blessings.

So, Father, as I do that, I pray for these who need Your tender loving touch: M – lost his Mom to Alzheimer’s (such a Godly woman), P- for her own health and her husband who is slowly wasting away, K- for her surgery, J-for her advancing paralysis which seems to have no answers, D&C- for remission from cancer, A-whose cancer has metastasized, S-for healing from resentment, D- for a new career and estranged children, B-with progressive aphasia, P- for remission of his cancer, G- for loss of her husband, G-for healing in his marriage, J- old friend who lost his wife recently to Alzheimer’s, S- who desperately needs to know you personally, and so many more.

Please keep these and others on my heart and lips as I pray in gratitude for what You have given me. Send special grace, LORD, in Jesus’ name. Amen

Verse for Today: https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/why-jesus-wept “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:3b-4)
