Grandchildren…

Dearest Father, my LORD, I sit here this morning relishing 83 Christmases. Where has all the time gone? It just seems like yesterday when I was small. Now our grown children have grown children of their own. The circle of life shrinks and time marches on.

Thank You for the memories, but please let us finish strong. May we live to see Your Grace abound in their lives, trusting You alone for their futures.

I pray you will let me live long enough to see each and all of them embrace You in faith for life. This I plead earnestly in the strong and matchless name of Jesus, my Savior and my God. Amen

Verse for Today: “My soul languishes for Your salvation;
I wait for Your word.” (Psalm 119:81) …may it be so for all whom I love…
