LORD Jesus, I pray wisdom and protection over my children and grandchildren today. As some of us gather for worship today, please put a hedge of protection about our children and grandchildren.
I pray with a grateful heart for those who will gather with others to worship You today.
I pray with a heavy heart for those who choose not to worship You today and for their hearts to be opened to You.
Father, I know how the generations have slowly eroded the examples of faith handed down by our ancestors.
In my family, please break the chain and bring my offspring into close relationship with You. This I pray today, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.
