Dear God, my Father, Oh how I want to honor Your holy name. Please keep my focus on the majesty and holiness of Your precious name. I desperately want Your Kingdom to present itself here on earth, just as it is in heaven, and that right soon. Please keep my mind and heart full of gratitude for Your provisions of food, shelter, and clothing. Teach me to be content.
Forgive me for both deliberate sins and for those I just do by omission. Please make me loving and caring and sensitive toward those I meet today and for those who have hurt me. Remind me how You loved me when I wasn’t lovable.
Please keep me from the wiles of Satan and the temptation to sin against You. All glory and honor to You, my LORD, both now and forever. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen
