Father, You who have created and sustained all life and creation, please help me as we approach this season we call Thanksgiving to remember to be thankful for all my blessings.
Thank You for protecting me from illness, accidents, and life altering pains. Thank You for giving me healthy children and grandchildren. Thank You for a loving, caring, wife who loves me. Thank You for our home and food and clean water and electricity and natural gas.
Please keep me from ever becoming insensitive or unappreciative of these gifts.
Most of all, Thank You for sending Jesus to invite me into Your family forever. Please keep me close to you, from now until the end and then for all eternity. These things I pray with humble gratitude in the strong and loving name of Jesus. Amen
