Dear and precious LORD, of all Your creatures in creation, thank You for puppies. I don’t know of any more prima facie example on earth of Your unconditional love than a puppy.
Thank You for the two You with which You have graced our home over the past three decades…and now thank you again for this new one we adopted yesterday.
Please help my bride and me to both learn from and emulate Your unconditional love we already see in this new addition to our home.
Thank You for the reminder we can love others who are not like us as well. Help us to do so today and tomorrow and tomorrow until Jesus comes again, Amen.
