LORD Jesus, I am weary and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I’ve been running forever, trying to outrun the trials of the couples You have sent us. Help me to stop trying to outrun my pain, but rather run with endurance the race You have set before me and my bride. Father, how I wish I could share the names of the couples who are broken around us. You alone know the pain they are suffering. May those who join me in prayer today lift up these private names to You for healing and relief.
I know, I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life. I know that nothing in this world can separate me from your steadfast love. Please give that same assurance to those for whom we grieve today. Please give me a measure of Your love today; give me the strength to endure this trial and to offer experience, strength and hope wherever we can today.
Thank You for Your love for me that never ends! And thank You for the crown of joy that awaits me forever in Your Kingdom! Keep me pointed toward that end with all I do, for Jesus’ sake. I humbly beg this pray in His holy name. Amen.
